Felix Afena-Gyan - the Ghanaian Lightning Bolt

jxo855

A new kid off the block for sure, only recently making his debut for both Roma, in Serie A, and the Ghanaian national team.

He made his debut for the Serie A giants about a month ago when he came off the bench in the final few minutes, and has since only played 2 more games. One might be thinking that it is very premature to be hyping this 18 year old up. But there is a good reason for it. Having come off the bench against Genoa recently he scored 2 goals to give Roma the win. The second of these being one of the most outrageous strikes you will ever see, I definitely urge you to go and watch it if you can, it is quite the hit. Having watched that game, I can clearly see that this young man will be a top striker for whoever he plays for.

He is known for his lightning speed and low centre of gravity. He has great agility and can run in behind defenders easily. This makes him a nightmare to play against. Also it seems that he can shoot (having seen that goal), which isn't a bad attribute to have either. His all round play seems very good and thankfully he was sent on by Jose Mourinho to turn the game in Roma’s favour, and the young Ghanaian did just that. From this performance I am sure he will quickly make more and more appearances for Roma and mayne secure a big move away from the club in the upcoming years. Without a doubt, a name to remember! DO NOT FORGET THE NAME, Felix Afena-Gyan!
