The young Spanish player who is only 17 years old has joined the Barcelona B team recently. Can he break into the first team soon? I believe so.
Having been raised through the academy in Valencia, Fabio made his way to Germany to play for the academy in Eintracht Frankfurt where he developed his skills. For the under 19 team in Frankfurt this season he scored 2 goals in 8 matches, not a bad return for a winger. Recently he has come back to his native Spain and has signed a 3 year contract with the Catalan giants, with his buyout clause to be 100 million Euros. This staggering figure shows how confident Barcelona are in finding a superstar in Fabio Blanco. Due to Barcelona’s financial troubles recently, they have been looking for young talent to join their ranks, alongside Pedri, Ansu Fati and Gavi who have already broken into the first team. They hope that players like Fabio Blanco can join them to rebuild Barcelona.
He is a pacey winger who is known for being a very good dribbler and is not scared to take on defenders. He is right foot dominated but from watching videos of him, he is very capable with both feet. Barcelona, as a club, need to start their rebuild and I believe attacking players like Fabio Blanco can help them succeed with this mission. He is a very promising talent, at the tender age of 17. I strongly believe in a year or two we will see him break into this Barcelona team and potentially become one of the La Liga’s top young talents.
